A practical reflection adapted from shared notes on the teaching of Prof. Dr. Lawrence Ibeh, Christ House International Berlin.
Scripture focus: Habakkuk 2:2–3; Isaiah 60:1.
This teaching connects a written vision with the responsibility to act. Writing brings purpose into focus and helps us recognise the work that should follow. These practical points develop that theme for daily life.
1. Put your vision into words
Describe the purpose you are working toward in clear language. A written statement gives you something to return to when distractions compete for your attention.
2. Identify the work it requires
Ask what you need to learn, prepare or complete. Divide a large goal into manageable responsibilities so that you can take a concrete step toward it.
3. Follow through in the right season
The notes emphasise the danger of continually delaying necessary work. Review your priorities prayerfully and make space for the tasks that require attention now.
Put it into practice
Write a short vision statement and list three next steps. Give each step a realistic time for action. Return to your plan in prayer, remaining willing to learn and adjust as you move forward.
